Alpha Weekend 2009

Around twenty guests, leaders and helpers went to Blaithwaite House in November for the Alpha course weekend away.
We were looked after by a wonderful team,
who plied us with so much food
that we had to go out for a walk in the driving rain to work it off,
where we were pursued by horses and hounds,
and so had to go back for more food to recover!
(We also had some great times of teaching, worship and fellowship - and did I mention the food?)
And just what were Joan and Rob doing? They were ironing Ben King's clerical shirt using Ange Rigby's hair straighteners!
